It will close the intersection for 3-5 days, weather permitting. Be alert and do not go past barricades that have closed the road. Watch for work along Highway 57 as crews continue with water main and storm sewer replacement. Pay attention to speed limits and signs and barricades. Some crossings of Hwy 57 are blocked, but there is often an open crossing up the next block or two. Slow down in town, do not use Hwy 57 as a through traffic routeThere are concerns about traffic speeds in Mantorville. Be aware that you can be ticketed for speeding. Use the detour route when you do not need to stop in Mantorville. It will reduce traffic and improve safety. Entering Mantorville from the south on Hwy 57 is for residents and people who are visiting a business in town.
